Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure the shift resetting for the record/reproduction head from the terminal position to the starting position by providing the head which features the spiral motion to the device main body plus the feed screw, the intermeshing element and the like which have relation to the turn of the turntable, thus realizing a light- weight and thin-gage structure for the sound recorder/reproducer. CONSTITUTION: Turntable 15 contains shift stage 27 which is guided by axle 35 and feed screw 36, and record/reproduction head 9 is provided on stage 27. The automatic resetting of head 9 is given at the record termination position with one turn of axle 36 and the feed function of spiral projection streak 41a in the quick and smooth way. Feed screw 43 and spiral barrel 41 are formed coaxially, and thus both the detaching action of screw 43 from intermeshing element 47 and the engagement action of the engaging element to streak 41a can be performed in the good timing when the head stops at the termination position. Furthermore, the driving system can be simplified along with the parts structure simplified as well. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
