Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the frame number display of film to an unerasable and eash-to- see display by providing such a display element which stores the original number in that state unless reverse current in flowed to the display of the frame number of film. CONSTITUTION: A film counter display part 11 is provided with an ECD. When in the counter display part 11 a film is put in and a cover 2 is closed, the counter is zero-displayed and when the first three frames are taken blank, the number of 1 with an imprinting mark appears. When photographing is finished, the imprinting mark disappears. On the other hand, when winding is finished, again the imprinting mark appears. If an LC is used for the counter, the display disappears when battery runs out but if the ECD is used, the number does not disappear unless reverse current for erasing this number appears. Hence, even if the battery has run out before using the camera, how many frames have been used may be stored and displayed. COPYRIGHT: (C)1980,JPO&Japio
