In-mold particle forming method for formed polyolefin synthetic resin particle


PURPOSE:To speed up the filling of particles into a mold, to increase the filling quantity, and to facilitate even filling into a complicate mold by keeping the mold at reduced pressure, pressurizing a particle container tank to a pressure above the atmospheric, and opening a valve. CONSTITUTION:When foamable particles are filled into a mold which has a small hole and can be closed but cannot be sealed, use is made of an in-mold foaming forming device comprising a mold connected with a particle container tank by a filling hose fitted with a valve. Keeping the mold at a reduced pressure and pressurizing the tnak to a pressure above the atmospheric and below 3 kg/cm<2>, the valve is opened so as to feed the particles into the mold rapidly, to increase the filling quantity, and to facilitate the filling into a complicate mold. Then heat is applied so as to allow the particles to foam and to fuse the particles together, to produce a foamed body which is in the proper shape and has reduced contraction.
