Abstract

PURPOSE: To hide a connected part well and perform efficient metallic ornamentation, by manufacturing a synthetic resin container whose top and side are connected to each other at a prescribed curvature, and bringing a copied leaf into contact with the top and side, and pressing the leaf by an elastic rubber roll or the like to heat and transfer the leaf. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin container 1, in which the radius R of cross-sectional curvature of the connected part 5 of the top 2 and side 3 is 5mm or less, is manufactured. The container 1 is fixed so that its top 2 is oriented upward. The copied part 6 of a copied leaf 7 is oriented downward and brought into contact with the top 2. A previously heated rubber roll 8 is rolled in contact with the upside of the copied leaf 7 to ornament the entire surface of the top 1 and a portion of the connected part 5. The container 1 is then set up to ornament the side 3 and another portion of the connected part 5 in the same way. The connected part 5 is thus ornamented continuously from both the top 2 and side 3.
